Above and beyond did an exemplary job on our new roof. The owner Felix came out to take a careful look with his foreman before starting the job. The office guy David was a pleasure to talk to and was always easily reachable and very professional. These guys lined up the roofing work to occur flawlessly in sync with another contractor’s roof extension project, and to finish in a three day time span right on track before the rains returned. I also asked a lot of questions throughout the process and learned a lot about roofing.
Save yourself some searching (I did a lot) and pick Above and Beyond to do your roof because they are awesome! Felix runs an expert and efficient roofing company. His crew arrived early, kept the worksite super clean, protected my landscaping, worked quickly, and did a beautiful job for a very competitive price. Felix and his office were in constant contact with us during the process, sending email progress updates with photos, dealing with the permit and inspection process for us, and offering a final "walk through" with us. I want to give special thanks to Felix, Jon, David, and Omar for doing such a great job! And a couple hints to fellow homeowners: you'll likely need the plywood/OSB underlayer even if you're hoping you don't, Above and Beyond arrives early, so be ready before 8:00, make sure you do lots of prepping of your attic and open spaces for all the debris that falls through if you don't already have a plywood/OSB layer, and be prepared to pay more for your City permit than you expect.

Felix and David made the entire project run very smoothly by keeping me updated throughout the project and keeping the project moving forward to minimize impact. Omar and his crew did a great job. I met with four roofing companies to replace my roof, and chose Felix because of his competitive quote and straight-shooter demeanor, and he didn't get into the weeds with roofing jargon and bs.
