Because of him, I know about how many years left I have, what work I can do to extend the life, and how much replacement will cost. He also gave me a reference for a solar panel company to do roof-related work since Sunpower (our installer) is out of business. In short, he was incredibly experienced, thorough, and honest! I probably don't need to replace my entire roof now, but when I do, I'll likely look to Nick to do it.

They were prompt to reply, reliable in showing up and communicating when they said they would, and offered a competitive quote and detailed quote and report on the state of my roof. They incorporated details I wanted done, such as adding insulation and sky lights to my roof, and made this conversation easy. Most importantly to me, they were honest about the level of work my roof needed, and thanks for their honesty, I learned my roof had a few more years in it before I needed to replace it - this is what I am looking for in a great contractor. Months later when I asked for a written assessment of their inspection for another use, they just emailed it over no questions asked, and didn't try to upsell me into a new inspection or something. I've had a great experience working with Nicholas Roofing for a number of small roofing projects/issues. They've been quick and willing to send someone out for small jobs (adding a plumbing penetration and fixing a small skylight leak) for a fair and reasonable price. After both of these jobs they always followed up by email to see how things went, and have since even helped me troubleshoot a separate leak via e-mail. It is so hard to find reliable contractors these days and even more so for small jobs. I've had such a positive experience that I will for sure be using Nicholas Roofing when I eventually need a new roof (soon).
