We hired Zion, Gabriel and his team from Brother & Brother Builders to remodel our common areas, kitchen, lower bathroom, and master bathroom, including handling all the permitting. Really pleased with how everything turned out! From the start, Zion's quote was more detailed than other contractors we talked to, which gave us a lot of confidence that they truly understood the work involved. The team also worked really well alongside our other third-party contractors and designer, making the whole process feel coordinated and smooth. One thing we really appreciated was how they handled changes along the way. When our requirements shifted, they adapted easily and offered great feedback on ways to simplify our design to save time and money. The team showed up on time each morning, cleaned up before leaving every day, and were always respectful and courteous. They made a point to ask questions and check in to make sure everything was being done to our satisfaction. Their attention to detail showed in the finishing touches, and whenever something wasn't quite right, they were more than willing to fix it. The project finished on schedule and mostly on budget. As a first time homeowner, I bought a condo that had not been updated in years. I had seen other units in the complex that were renovated quickly to sell. They looked nice at first glance, but the finishes were not my style, and once something is newly redone, it becomes hard to justify changing it again. In a way, I was glad this one had not been flipped. It gave me the chance to renovate it properly and make it fully mine. I did not fully understand how overwhelming a remodel would be. I had heard enough contractor horror stories to know how badly things can go if you choose the wrong team. I did not know all the decisions that would be involved, but I knew trust was critical. I met with several contractors. Daniel and Roy stood out immediately. They were transparent, confident, and clear about how they work. They showed me past projects and connected me with a previous client. I toured that condo myself and saw the quality firsthand. Hearing directly from someone who had worked with them gave me real confidence. Their pricing felt fair and thorough. It was not the lowest and not the highest, but it was detailed and realistic. One of the biggest advantages was that they include design support. Alex helped guide me through layouts, finishes, fixtures, and countless decisions I would not have known to think about. She created 3D renderings before construction began, and the finished space looks exactly like those renderings. Before buying this condo, I had rented another unit in the same complex that had been recently renovated. It looked beautiful, and I genuinely enjoyed living there. At the time, I assumed that was what a renovation meant. Going through my own remodel with Brother and Brother gave me a new appreciation for what a truly thorough renovation involves. I realized that not every renovation automatically includes this level of care and evaluation. With them, it did. For example, during my project, Brother and Brother rebuilt the entire shower pan with proper slope for drainage and evaluated and updated the electrical panel as part of their standard process. Those were not things I knew to ask about. They handled them automatically because that is simply how they operate. They were not just focused on how it looked. They made sure it functioned properly and was brought up to current standards. Auner was the on site lead throughout construction and oversaw the day to day execution of the project. Remodels are complex, and like any large project, small things come up along the way. What mattered to me was that everything was ultimately addressed and completed properly. The quality of the finished work reflects that. Where my detail oriented side really came out was in the visible finishes and layout decisions. Once we were choosing tile placement, cabinet alignment, hardware, lighting placement, and all the small visual details, I had strong opinions. I asked a lot of questions and paid attention to tiny things that most people probably would not notice. I am sure they knew I could be extra at times. What I appreciated most was that Daniel and Roy never made me feel wrong for caring that much. They consistently reassured me that it was my home and that it made sense to want things done right. I trusted them with the structural and technical work I did not fully understand, and they respected my involvement in the details I could see and feel. Communication was easy through a group chat with the entire team, and they were responsive throughout the project. After I moved in, they came back promptly to handle minor adjustments that only become noticeable once you are living in the space. The condo now feels completely mine. I trusted them with a major investment, and they delivered. I would confidently recommend Brother and Brother, especially Daniel and Roy, to anyone considering a remodel. I would work with them again without hesitation.

Who writes reviews ?? - usually there are 2 types who does. 1) One who has something to complain and wants to have their voice heard. 2) the other who thinks that the business went above and beyond to deliver. Above and beyond - I don’t use these words lightly. Brother and Brother deserves every letter. We did our research but nothing can beat the word of mouth and personal reference from strangers, and there were a lot of them. We are not first time home owners and this was not our first rodeo, but our past experiences have been bitter and that felt like the rule of thumb. Zion(Brother & Brother Builder) always spoke to the point and adhered to the contract and it was discussed and written in a manner that there was no ambiguity. In a rebuild, there are surprises and we had our fair share, but it was always handled with proper mitigation plan and options. Zion always gave the news with a plan- that was surprisingly refreshing. How you communicate matters - "We found a must fix XYZ and it will cost additional $ABC” Versus “We discovered this, we think you should fix it and here are a couple options and cost”. Zion gave awesome design ideas that stood out and the project went like a clockwork. Brother and Brother Builder is not a one man show and due credit must be given to the team - Brenda holds the pieces together and Gabriel and Miguel are 2 pillars in Zion’s team. We recently completed a full kitchen and two bathroom remodel and had a fantastic experience working with this team. From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, thoughtfully, and with great attention to detail. They offered the most reasonable quote compared to others we received, and the final cost stayed well within a reasonable range of that estimate. For a project of this size, that kind of pricing transparency and consistency was really appreciated. The in-house designer, Kery, was absolutely key to bringing our vision to life. She helped us select materials that matched the look we were going for—without pushing us over budget—and had a great eye for how to make the most of our layout. She also helped us avoid common mistakes and made sure every decision fit both our aesthetic goals and the practical needs of the space. The project managers, Roy and Daniel, were responsive, patient, and flexible throughout. They were always willing to talk through our questions or concerns, and they treated every detail with care. The senior project manager, Daniel, in particular, had a sharp eye for detail and wouldn’t compromise on the quality of work—even when we were okay letting something slide. In hindsight, we’re really glad he pushed for 100% satisfaction, because those small refinements made a big difference in the final result. For example, we had some specific feedback on how the under-cabinet lighting looked once installed—both in terms of placement and how the light reflected—and they worked with us to make those adjustments until we were happy with the final result. The staff and subcontractors they brought in were also very responsible and respectful of our home. They always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day and made sure everything was locked up and secure before leaving. The project did go slightly over the original timeline, finishing about a week and a half later than planned, but that time was spent on final touches that made a big difference in the overall finish. For a remodel of this scale, we felt that was reasonable—and we appreciated that they didn’t cut corners and rush the final steps just to meet a deadline. Overall, we’re really happy with the outcome and would highly recommend this team to anyone planning a remodel.
