California Roof Runners

I had a great experience with this roofing company from start to finish. The installation price was very competitive and, most importantly, there were no surprises or hidden costs. Communication was excellent—they responded quickly, kept me informed throughout the process, and showed up when they said they would. The roofing crew did a professional job and worked efficiently. I was especially impressed with how clean they kept the property during the installation and how thoroughly they cleaned up when the job was finished. Overall, the quality of the work, pricing, communication, speed, and cleanliness were all excellent. I would definitely recommend this roofing company to anyone looking for a reliable and professional roofer. Plus, they take pictures of the job step by step and provide a drone fly over video of the completed job.

I picked CA Roof Runners to quote due to the great reviews. My review now that the work is done is because they exceeded my expectation and the great reviews. The whole process went as many other reviewers mentioned very smoothly and with Nick very engaged. Also, his crew...from the roof removers to the roof replacers to the gutter team were really wonderful. Not only good but just nice people. Also Nick's quote was the best value from the 7 ones I got. Finally I was happy to go with Nick as he has started his own company and brought that heart and attention that a small company growing its business will do.

I recently completed a roofing project with this team, including a full roof replacement, installation of a sun tunnel, and new gutters. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the experience from start to finish. One of the things I appreciated most was the transparent pricing. The estimate clearly outlined the scope of work with itemized details, so I understood exactly what I was paying for. Roofing projects often end up costing much more than the original estimate, but in this case, any additional charges were explained in detail and were very reasonable. The project was extremely well organized. They documented each phase of the work with drone photos before and after, which gave me great visibility into the progress and quality. After the project was completed, they also provided a full package with all before and after photos for the entire job. I really appreciated having that complete record of the work. Communication was excellent throughout the process. They responded very quickly on Yelp and by phone whenever I had questions. They originally promised a three day timeline but completed everything in just two days by assigning enough workers to each task and managing the workflow efficiently. The permit process was handled smoothly by their team, and approval was obtained without any stress on my end. If you are looking for a roofing contractor that is organized, transparent, responsive, and efficient, I would highly recommend them.

5 Stars – Highly Recommended! After getting bids and interviewing five local companies, we chose California Roof Runners, led by Nick Grote, for our project. They completed a full roof replacement on our home, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The new roof looks stunning, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. Nick was exceptionally responsive and accommodating throughout—answering questions promptly, providing clear pricing and invoicing, and making himself available whenever needed. His crew worked efficiently, completing the job in just two days, while remaining respectful and diligent about daily cleanup. Nick was on-site periodically to oversee progress and even walked the site with us at the end to address any final questions. As a reputable, local businessman in our community, he's a true professional, and we love supporting neighbors like him. If you're looking for quality workmanship, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service, California Roof Runners is the way to go. We happily give them our highest recommendation!

We hired California Roof Runners for a new roof on our house in San Jose. From the beginning of the job, our experience was great. Nick was extremely communicative and patient explaining all the available options and how the unique features of our house factored into the job. When we had questions, they were answered fully and honestly. His crew were punctual and completed the whole project (removal of old shingles, laying plywood, new shingles) from start to finish in 3 days. I have told all my friends about our great experience and would highly recommend California Roof Runners for any roofing projects.
