My house was built in 1910, so it's had more than a few new roofs over its life and was in dire need of a new one. I should have had a new roof installed years ago, but life gets in the way. So, my new roof wasn't just about replacing shingles. Due to the amount of wood rot, it needed new plywood, new facia boards, and everything else you can think of when it comes to a roof. Now, getting a quote on a new roof, especially one that requires multiple disciplines in roofing, woodworking, and metalworking, is difficult. I got six quotes, but the only one that gave me the confidence that they could do the job was Conrad, and fortunately, I was correct in my assessment. Since I live in Naglee Park, an area of San Jose where homes were built in the early 1900s, the city regards my home as historic. That means contractors have to jump through a few more hoops than normal, which Conrad did. Conrad was upfront about when they could install the roof and kept me updated when the schedule had to be pushed out. That's good customer service. Also, the crew who installed my roof was top-notch. They came at exactly 7:30 AM and left at 3:30 PM after cleaning up. People walking by said they loved the roof. How often do you hear that? It's a roof! Use Conrad, and you'll no doubt love your roof for the next 30 years!

Cornrad Roofing did an excellent job replacing my original wood shingle roof. Arty explained the pros and cons of different options - ridge vent Vs box rent; light color Vs dark color shingles etc which helped me greatly in deciding what I need. Jose's installation team are very polite and worked deligently all 3 days with attention to detail and the new roof look great. BTW, the cleanup was so good and thorough that my wife said the area around the house is more clean and tidy than they started working 3 days ago. Even though their estimate is the most expansive one, their overall first-rate work earned the ***** and I would recommend them without hesitation.
