I worked with this company to replace my roof at the end of 2023 and have had leaks for the 2.5 years since. The walls of my bathroom, bedrooms, and living room were wet to the touch. Jose, Renato, and the rest of team have done an absolutely appalling job. Every time there was leak, there was poor communication follow up and even worse patch up job. Unfortunately, due to the persistent leaks, I ended up with severe water damage, mold, and dry rot across several sections of my home On top of all of that, they have not refunded me for the initial roof payment which was ~$24k. I have been chasing Jose and team for 4 months at this point, and for the several weeks, Jose has ghosted me. Now I have to redo the whole roof, remediate the mold, redo my walls and flooring, etc and all in, I will have to spend ~$200k Jose has behaved very unprofessionally considering the extent of damage their poor work caused my home. The absolute minimum they should have done is refund the cost of the roof. Strongly suggest people stay away from this company.

My wife and I recently worked with Diamond Ridge to replace our roof, with Marcelo as our project manager. We’ve worked with countless contractors on many home projects over the years (HVAC, water heater, exterior painting, etc) and our experience working with this company was about as close to perfect as we’ve ever had. From the initial consultation to the execution and the final tying of loose ends, Marcelo always made us feel like he had our best interests in mind… like he’s working on his own home. His bid was competitive with the other bids we got, but what really set him apart was his endless patience answering all our questions, his attention to detail even during that first visit, and his positive attitude. It’s clear that he loves what he does, and it shows in the results. His team members all seemed very professional and efficient, and they worked together well as a cohesive and happy team. We loved all the in-progress photos and drone footage Marcelo would send us throughout the project. It went a long way toward making us feel at ease and engaged the whole time. Shortly after we thought we were done and concluded the final payment of the schedule, we noticed a few minor flaws. Marcelo still made sure every single one of our concerns were addressed, which we really appreciated. Obviously we don’t expect to replace our roof again anytime soon, but we would definitely recommend him with no hesitation to anyone needing roof work. We really felt he went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Marcelo’s a member of our team now. He’s our roof specialist.

We hired this company to replace our roof and gutters in 2024, and unfortunately the overall experience has been far below expectations. During the recent rains, a section of the gutter began leaking noticeably. We recorded videos showing exactly where the water was escaping and reached out to the company for help, hoping they could inspect the issue since the installation was done recently. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, we never received any response — not even an acknowledgment. Beyond the leaking gutter, there were several workmanship and cleanup issues that became clear after the project. We found many nails scattered around the property, which was both unsafe and unprofessional. Cleanup should be a basic part of any roofing job, and it was disappointing to see this overlooked. Additionally, the crew left several nail holes on our exterior wall. The patching they attempted was poorly done and visibly uneven, leaving the wall looking worse than before. For a project of this scale and cost, we expected much better attention to detail. Between the lack of communication, the unresolved gutter leak, the unsafe cleanup, and the poorly patched exterior wall, we cannot recommend this company. We would not hire them again.

I want to give my highest recommendation to Diamond Ridge Roofing Systems, especially Alex Lopes and Fred. My experience with them was far beyond what I ever expected from a roofing company. A year ago, Alex inspected my roof and gave me a very competitive estimate, but I couldn’t move forward at the time. When I was finally ready one year later Alex came back the same day and honored the original price. That alone showed his honesty and integrity. During the project, the crew finished my roof in just three days with excellent quality. But the real miracle happened when we discovered I had two open city permits from 20 years ago that blocked my new roof permit. I was extremely stressed, but Alex and Fred never left me alone. They went with me to the city multiple times, handled everything with professionalism, and truly went above and beyond what they were hired to do. Thanks to them, not only did I get my new roof fully approved, but the city also closed those old permits that had been pending for decades. I can finally enjoy peace of mind and feel safe in my own home. If you want honesty, professionalism, and people who genuinely care, I couldn’t recommend Alex, Fred, and Diamond Ridge Roofing Systems more. They changed a stressful situation into one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had.
