After buying our first house we decided to do an extensive whole house remodel. Walls were removed, bathrooms, kitchen and floors all torn out! You name it we probably did it! Thankfully we were referred to Heun Pacific construction by a family friend. Joel is honest, very experienced and his attention to detail is top notch! We are blown away with all the hard work he put into our project! He treated our house as if it was his own home, making each change as perfect and safe as humanly possible. Remodeling your home can be really stressful but having an excellent skilled contractor can make all the difference in the world! We chose a lot of smart home and custom features, that are not run of the mill. Even though these things are challenging for some to install, Joel and his team had no difficulty. Also, something really important to have is a contractor with great communication skills. Its not an easy thing to find in the construction world. However from start to finish Joel always kept us updated and made sure we were on the same page. Joel and I worked on a remodel that turned into a substantial overhaul renovation of our newly purchased home before my husband and I moved in. Despite encountering many unforeseen problems due to the home’s age (built 1947, not renovated since early 60s), Joel kept us on schedule and coordinated his subcontractors seamlessly. Our home turned out perfectly— it looks like a showplace. Joel executed exactly the vision that we gave to him and he was able to work very efficiently despite many curveballs during the course of the project. I’m incredibly happy I hired him and would recommend him to anyone for any project, large or small. If I could go back and do one thing differently, I would have initiated more conversations about budget as the scope of the project expanded. Something I learned about large construction projects is that the budget is a moving target and our project included 2/3 of our 1800 square foot home. Despite the large scale (for us), Joel did a great job tracking details and keeping me in the loop. I feel he did absolutely outstanding work for me at a very fair and honest price and life in our new home feels like a vacation.

Joel was fantastic to work with, fast to respond and fair with pricing. The installation was more complicated than originally thought but Joel was able to make it work. The new door looks fantastic and he even took care of the old door.
