We've consistently had an excellent experience with IB Roofing from start to finish. Israel is incredibly friendly, responsive and reliable. It was great to rely on his expertise for handling the whole project from choosing the right materials to the complex installation. His hardworking crew is courteous and efficient, thoughtfully cleaning up after they finish for the day. He's very fair and transparent with his pricing and timelines, which makes the whole project feel like a breeze. I'm a repeat customer and cannot recommend them highly enough for their honest, high-quality roofing work.
My neighbor recommended IB Roofing as they re-roofed his home not too long ago and he was pleased with the job they did. When I was climbing around on the roof installing Christmas lights in November I saw its condition and realized it needed replacing. I contacted IBR and German came out quickly to take a look and shared some initial observations, along with some preliminary options. A few days later he sent estimates on each option, clear and straightforward. I opted for the larger job of taking off the existing shingles--even though it was the first layer--and for replacing any plywood as needed. I could have just had them put shingles on top of the existing roof but decided to go for the completely new roof, for peace of mind. I also added a skylight to the job, and German answered all my questions about that product's details and costs. The job was scheduled for early January. Owner Israel and partner German responded quickly to questions, and communication throughout the job was great. The crew started on a Monday morning at 8am; Israel the owner introduced himself, supervised the setup and got the crew going. They even worked around my Christmas lights that I had not yet taken down! The job was done by late afternoon Tuesday. Overall I was super pleased with their work and the finished results. Fyi, payment is a $1000 deposit, half of the the amount upon starting and the rest on completion. City permit fees are extra. (The photo is of the skylight.)
IB Roofing was the clear best choice of the four bids I received to re-roof my Rockridge house. Their pricing was excellent for the quality we wanted, and Israel, the owner, was great to work with: punctual, transparent, patient, responsive, and never pushy. He clearly explained what was necessary versus what was optional, and I never felt upsold. When additional issues came up, including the need to replace roof decking before the shingles could go on, Israel reached out immediately. Even with that added scope, the total cost still ended up roughly in line with the next lowest bid, which had not included decking. He also went above and beyond on a skylight repair by having his crew prime the interior area to make things easier for the next crew. To top it off, when the job was done, Israel walked the roof with me and explained everything that had been completed. All around, this was an ideal contractor experience. I would absolutely recommend IB Roofing.

IB Roofing installed our new roof and did a phenomenal job - so when we decided to add a skylight to our bathroom Israel was the first person I thought of. He was able to order the skylight I wanted with transparent pricing, and get me scheduled quickly after the skylight arrived. His crew is always on time, professional, courteous, and clean. The skylight looks amazing and we couldn't be happier. I can't find a single thing to complain about - Israel, Ingrid, and the entire crew at IB Roofing are great to work with.
