Jeff from JAB Construction was terrific from the start. He gave a competitive quote with a thorough, accurate price. His accounting was always spot on. He was always on time and kept me informed of progress along the way. He involved me when needed but also took action without involving me when appropriate. He has great subcontractors that were on-time and did great work. He was always on the job to meet all the subcontractors and to manage his own workers who also did good work. Jeff finished the job by making sure everything was done right. I hardly found anything that needed to be fixed but with the few things I noticed he quickly took care of them. Jeff is a very friendly, responsible, smart and professional contractor that I highly recommend. Here are just a few photos.
Repaired structural elements of a deck for a condominium - challenging job due to height of the deck above ground and steep slopes below; replaced large beams and ledger, repaired dry rot. Excellent performance. Well organized; administered the contract well; prosecuted the work diligently to completion, finishing on schedule despite weather challenges; did quality work.
We first contacted JAB Construction in 2012 for help with water damage on the back of our house. They are experts in this area. We have come to trust them so much for their expertise and craftsmanship that we've used them for all kinds projects over the years - from simple work like replacing a ledge in our kitchen, to building shelves in our garage, to completely rebuilding and replacing the back of our house to address the water damage (see attached pictures). Jeff and his crew are responsive, knowledgeable, and deliver excellent work. It's rare to find a contractor you trust so much that they become your go-to for everything you want to do to your house. JAB is that company.

I had to sue them because the water never stopped. A number of other people called me stating they were in the same boat. He fled to Alaska moose hunting and never appeared in court. He cost me a couple of hundred thousand dollars in damages. He is terrible and doesn’t know what he is doing, worst yet he doesn’t care and just disappears once things go wrong.
