LRC Roofing completed my main roof earlier this year, and I was impressed with their thorough work (composite shingles)! This project was subbed out from Semper Solaris (I didn't install solar after all), so I was "nervous" about have a third party I didn't contract with directly complete my roof project. Given the circumstances, I did validate/review LRC work with a retired neighbor that once had his own roofing company ... Great to see the end result with NO issues and permits approved upon first inspection. I now have a 50yr roof that will outlast me! I was so happy with Luis and his team, that I asked LRC to quote a second, separate project on my property: a torch down roof over an enclosed patio + torch down storage overhang on side of the house. This roof is typically expensive, but LRC had a very fair price -- AND he added a free downspout to minimize the moisture challenges I had before on the overhang. AFTER PROJECT: LRC was responsive after installation as I thought there were some issues after the big first rain in October: 1) My older, existing gutters had overflowed in spots and Luis came out the same day I called = excellent service! It turns out leaves had accumulated, thus blocking flow of water to downspout -->Luis hosed out the sludge and put in an extra fastener to support my gutter in that spot. This wasn't his install issue but I didn't know the root cause when I called. 2) The existing skylight I had re-installed on the torch down area was leaking, but I thought it was the new roof. Ultimately, I had to replace the old skylight that was over 25years old. Luis again was responsive and facilitated the order for the custom skylight. He picked it up from vendor and installed for free. I'm glad I used LRC for the entire property and wouldn't hesitate to use the Luis/Lorena again. Luis and his team were prompt, efficient and did clean up after each project - plus responsive to my perceived issues that weren't related to LRC work as noted above; quality work at a fair and honest price!
It’s about to rain again, and our family is free of worry, thanks to LRC Roofing. The roof is so nice looking, and the care LRC Roofing expressed throughout the project was terrific. We had been doing minor and major repairs to keep away leaks, but it all became too much, and a new roof was needed. LRC was on time with every step, was very present on each communication, and was clear when setting expectations, including important updates as the project progressed. We worked with Lorena and with Luis, and we appreciate so much their values of treating customers well, delivering great service and end product, and clearly caring about their work. We could relax since we could tell the project was being well managed and well executed. The roof was done three months ago, and all seems well and terrific. LRC just finished my roof and I couldn't be happier. Louis, en extremely nice guy always on time and responsive gave me a competitive price and there was no hard sell on anything just what was needed. And his crew: these guys are no slackers they worked hard every day and were very attentive to detail even doing little things that I never would have thought needed doing. On top of all that they're all really nice people and I felt so relieved having these guys making my home a better place. LRC takes pride in their work and it shows.
I can’t say enough good things about LRC Roofing. They replaced my roof and gutters at a very reasonable price. I was actually looking to have my gutters replaced after this winter’s storms. And I wanted a local owner operated company so I googled that in San Jose and I saw that LRC Roofing was verified licensed and had 17 years experience in the Bay Area. When I called the phone number and Luis answered and I could hear him working on a roof when he took my call then I knew this guy was a legit owner operator. He gave me a great quote on my gutters and without trying to upsell me he mentioned my roof also looked like it might need to be replaced pretty soon. It had been over 20 years since it had been replaced. So I asked him for an estimate on my roof and he quoted me a very reasonable price so I decided I’d better not procrastinate. He did a great job. His crew was great. They started work about a week after my estimate. They worked super hard everyday to complete my roof within 3 days and just took about half a day to finish my gutters and downspouts. Luis even installed a downspout rain barrel diverter per my request. They replaced my Whirlybird roof vents with low profile O’hagin vents. It looks super nice and no more squeaky whirlybirds. They also extended some rafter tails on one side of my garage so that I could have one seamless gutter along that side instead of a zigzag gutter which had been causing water damage. Of course they replaced all that damage. They also took care of the city permit. Luis does have an office staff as well. Lorena took care of me with the paperwork. I just want to add that I hate big corporate companies that are impersonal and are not locally based because once they complete their task you may never hear from them again whereas I know working with Luis, and he himself has told me, if anything comes up down the line with my roof or gutters I can call him to come and check everything.
