I was soliciting bids from local roofing companies when I happened to see a roof Lucid Roofing had completed during one of my daily walks through Emerald Hills. The roof looked great, so I contacted the company. Dan, the owner, called me back even though he was on vacation, and we scheduled an appointment for him to provide an estimate the following week. I had an excellent experience with Lucid Roofing from that first conversation through the completion of my roof. Their proposal was thorough, professional, and transparent, clearly explaining the materials, ventilation, drip edge, permits, cleanup, and warranty. That attention to detail carried through to the installation. The crew took great care with my property, kept the worksite impressively clean, and made sure everything was picked up when the job was finished. The workmanship and attention to even the smallest details gave me real confidence in the final result. He took the time to answer all of our questions, coordinated our solar panel removal, managed the permit and inspections. Dan Whiting & Lucid Roofing were answered prayer. I’m elderly, disabled, and I live alone. When a major storm blew off part of my roof, I was unable to get emergency help from local roofing companies (including ones I’d used in the past).. Lucid Roofing responded right away, did emergency tarping and then a beautiful new roof. (It was time.) Dan was very professional and the cost was reasonable, especially with the Senior Discount. His crew was not only was also professional, and in all my 80 years, I’ve never seen such a thorough post job clean-up.
