This company did my roof in 2019- a complete new roof. In 2020 the roof shingles began to lift. I had a different company come and share that the job was poorly done along the ridge and I should contact the company. I did and the company told me I had to contact Lowe's because they were subcontractors. I contacted Lowe's and they said I had to contact the company that actually did the work. I contacted Manada again and I was told to pay $500 for them to come out and see THEIR own work and that fee would be applied to any work they do! Unbelievable, my father became ill and couldn't deal with this and I did contact the Better Business Bureau and they stated that too many years had passed- it was 3 years. How long is a roof supposed to last?? Regardless, poor craftsmanship and material reflects the job quality of Manada Roofing. I just today, completed the repairs for this winter. This is a shameless unethical company that DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK.
I called 6 different contractors in the area. They either didn't return my calls, or wanted to schedule me for quote months away. Manada roofing was out within a day to give me a quote. After I payed the initial deposit, I had expected it to take a couple weeks to order material (I'd selected an slightly unusual color), and get the permit from the city. Instead, they called me a couple days later, and wanted to start the job that weekend. They had the job done that week. I'm super thrilled with their attention to detail. From every flashing, sealing around chimneys correctly, and even replaced a bit of trim that was falling apart. They patched the plywood where my old roof vents were, and set up the ridgeline for a venting. They even took my replacement attic vent away and covered it in the same sandy material as the shingles! Even the city's inspector was impressed and said that he always sees good work from these guys. I'm thrilled with the result, and I have the best looking roof in the whole neighborhood now! I've used Manada for many projects, from minor one hour repairs to major ten month remodel8ng projects. They can handle any type of work that I propose to them and they always finish with professional level workmanship, at a very fair price. Manada is also very good about follow-ups and punch lists. They seem anxious to make the adjustments needed to satisfy me (the customer), and they don't try to charge me extra for the follow-up visits. I have used many, many contractors in my long life and Manada is by far the best I've ever worked with. Their crew and office staff have always been courteous, friendly and attentive. Manada is now (and has been for several years) my "go-to contractor" for anything I need done at my home or business. They are truly a one stop shop that will handle any job from cradle to grave. I am extremely grateful that I found MANADA BUILDERS..... They're awesome !
We got some roofing rafters replacement work done by them. In that process due to excessive use of force in removing the rafters, our interior dry wall got cracked. When we reported the issue, they said they will get back to us about some options. Later we got notified that if we do not make payments they will place the house on builders’ lien. Totally unprofessional approach to handling customer complaints. We made the payments as we did not have to go thru the hassle of removing the lien etc. I would caution that if you use their services, take before/after pictures of the areas of repairs inside and outside. We wouldn’t be using their services in the future.
Ruben and crew were professional and did a great job with our new gutters. We had purchased gutter covers and they installed them too. The crew was friendly and fast and paid attention to detail. Good job!
