My father-in-law had an ongoing roof leak, and after having three different roofing companies inspect the problem, they all told him he needed a complete new roof. Before making such a major investment, he contacted Northern California Roofing for another opinion. Andy came out, thoroughly inspected the roof, and quickly identified the real issue that the other companies had missed. Instead of needing a new roof, the problem was simply a vent near the top of the house that needed to be properly repaired and sealed. Andy returned to ensure the repair was completed correctly and conducted a detailed inspection to make sure all roof vents were properly sealed. It was well over a decade ago, I needed to have two missing ridge caps & an end cap replaced on a multi-level home and went with Northern California Roofing to do the service. This was during the summer months and there was no problems with leaking. I don't remember the exact cost but it seemed considerably high for what was required. This time around things were different. All tiles were intact, it was rainy and I had a ceiling leak. John Galiotto was sent out to explain reasons a leak would occur and to discuss my options. He arrived with pictures of roof jobs similar to mine and thoroughly explained what it entailed. I could address the immediate problem area only, which would still leave me with 3 more identical potential leak incidents later down the road. In light of the previous experience, coupled with time & inflation, I was prepared to sell some vital organs to afford the fix. I asked for a ballpark figure do all four zones and it was significantly less than imagined. John was extremely cordial & comprehensive throughout keeping informed every step along the way. Thank you also his team of Tyler Fullerton & David Hernandez for their professionalism with invoicing and the pre-, present & post job photos which was entirely unexpected.
