We have hired Ohana Construction for two separate projects at our home, and both experiences were outstanding. One project involved locating and repairing dry rot under our floors, and the other also involved dry rot, but also the installation of a beautiful new, larger front entry with double glass doors that transformed our home by bringing in so much more natural light. What sets Ohana apart is the professionalism, honesty, and communication of owner Kimo. Because the extent of the dry rot wasn't known at the start, Kimo kept us informed every step of the way as work progressed. He clearly explained what was being discovered, what needed to be done, and how it would affect the scope and cost of the project. OHANA CONSTRUCTION INC. renovated an old, dilapidated barn into an upscale, functional, efficient, and beautiful home for the dogs of Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary. Walking into the vestibule of the barn is like walking into someones living room. Warm & inviting, the fabulous job of transformation keeps our dogs (and volunteers) warm in winter & cool in summer. Natural light abounds with all the conveniences of a home. And CLEAN.. the crew never left so much as a nail behind. Each worker was polite and so willing to go the extra mile to meet our challenging needs. If there were six stars they would be justifiably earned.
