One of my garage door torsion springs broke after 32 years and I wanted to find a company that may give me the longevity of my original garage door spring by offering not only superior quality products, but excellent service as well. I selected Precision Garage Door Service after checking out their online website and positive reviews. I was very happy with my choice, mainly due to the garage door technician, Anthony L., who was sent out to service my garage door. Anthony was great. He was very personable, professional, and had a great positive attitude because you can tell he really enjoys what he does, and was not just there to get a paycheck. He went through a thorough garage door inspection to see if I had any other issues with the overall condition and functionality of my garage door, and happily answered all my questions in regards to recommendations he made to keep my garage door working worry-free for a long time. Anthony was not only very helpful, but he was also very knowledgeable and you can tell he takes pride in the work he does and wants to make sure the work is done correctly the first time. After replacing/adjusting both torsion springs with high-grade, powder coated steel springs rated for 25,000-50,000+ cycles; all 10 rollers (5/side) with nylon wheels with sealed bearings; installing 2 new sealed torsion bar cable drum wheel bearings and cabling; and replacing the center torsion bar spacer w/a new sealed bearing, Anthony lubricated all the moving parts which he suggested should be lubricated on a periodic maintenance schedule. Luckily, I have been lubricating all the moving parts he recommended which probably explains why my torsion springs lasted 32 years. Hopefully, I will get the same or better longevity from my new Precision Garage Door Service parts using the same lubrication maintenance schedule. I want to give Anthony L. a “BIG Thank You” for not only doing an awesome job, but having a great personality who genuinely cares about making sure the customer is totally satisfied after completion of his work. Precision Garage Door Service should be really fortunate to have Anthony working for them. I also want to give Ashley, the Precision Door Service representative I originally spoke to on the phone, kudos for courteously answering my questions, and especially recommending Anthony to repair my garage door. David arrived on schedule and quickly assessed what was needed to resolve my garage door issue. He gave me several options along with his recommendation, which I went with. He resolved the door issue within the next 80 minutes or so. I've used Precision Garage Door before and highly recommend; have never had an issue; they do quality work at a reasonable price. The spring on our garage door broke, and in less than 24-hours, Precision Garage Door had David at our home. He inspected all the components and provided us with a few options along with a thorough explanation of pros and cons. No pressure and very patient with our questions. Service, warranties, and after care were also explained in detail. We hadn't even noticed how incredibly loud our door had become and are thrilled it purrs so quietly now. David explained details of his repair, adjustments he made, and why they are important to the lifespan of our entire system.
