Contacted Roof Tile Custom Specialists to repair section of home tile roof which was leaking. Original owner along with his grandson, now owner, both came out and recommended work needed. Along the way it was determined that other work was needed and all work was performed without interruption (days missed). I appreciate the insight of the original owner, now it his 80's to recommend added changes which would better fit this homes roof needs.
The roof tiles were damaged and shifted due to recent storms. The establishment provided a reasonable repair plan and carried it out before another major storm arrived.
These people communicated with us competently. They explained the process. The did tell us that that they might find some dry rot and what the hourly cost would be to make repairs. The installation went smoothly.
Frank and Carl are professionals and know roof tile installation better than most. In 1997 we had a wind storm literally blow tiles from our roof. They came in a replaced the roof that it has stayed on since. They have also done other skylight work for us and they do great work. We just moved to a new house and the inspectors said there were a couple tiles broken. Since there was a warranty on the roof, the previous owners called, and emailed, multiple times to get the tiles fixed. No response. We moved in and I had called and emailed multiple times, to have them come out and, and after multiple calls and emails they finally came out to inspect, just as I was leaving. I could not stay so I asked them to call me with status. After a couple days with no response I called them, and waited for a call back, which I did receive finally. They gave me bad news saying that there were a lot of tiles that were caulked together, which is not good, and that to fix I would probably need the whole roof replaced! Which is strange since I was told that they were the only company that had worked on the roof. So I asked for a detailed report with this information, and pictures, in it so I could go back to previous owners for some clarity. This bad news was baffling to me since the home and roof inspections that we had done by other companies did not mention anything about the supposed caulking issue. Again no response. Multiple phone calls, "how can we make you smile?", and emails later still nothing, no email or call. Last contact was to just get someone to come out to talk in person and show me the issue and nothing! This has been going on for two months now and I am done with them. I can not comment on their work, but if it is anything like their lack of communication, it is not good. They probably ignore warranty work since they do not make any money on it. I do not know how they are still in business.
