I had a great experience working with Donnacha at Roofworx. From the initial consultation to the resulting repairs, Donnacha was an excellent, professional point of contact and a reliable, consistent, responsive communicator. He went above and beyond to ensure that the work was done well, even offering to communicate directly with the neighboring property owner to ensure the shared space was properly managed. We worked with Roofworx to redo our roof. The roof was not a standard re-shingling. We wanted to add insulation on top of our existing exposed beam ceiling to preserve the beauty of the wood. The insulation was desired because our roof did not have any insulation and during sunny days in the summer it would be quite uncomfortable inside. They worked with us to get all the details right and in the end our roof is quite nice. It is very comfortable inside and looks great.

Instead of just patching it, they recommended the correct solution: installing a modified bitumen roofing system designed specifically for low-pitch roofs. They clearly explained why shingles are not ideal for low-slope areas and why modified bitumen would provide better waterproofing and long-term protection. The installation was done efficiently, cleanly, and with great attention to detail. Since the repair, we’ve had no leaks at all. I really appreciate their transparency and expertise.
