Salomon Myvett is honest, responsible, diligent, and detail-oriented. My house had tenants for 12+ years and once they left, it needed a full and complete remodel. We worked together on my needs and budget and he made sure to respect both. Overall very pleased with the results which he delivered on time.
I am Real Estate Broker with several years of experience and I have seen some of the projects fully completed by Mr. Salomon Myvett. Mr. Myvett is a great contractor and a good human being. He does a great job for the community and he has high standards of integrity, knowledge, kindness and respect to the public. In addition to the above-mentioned, he has a wonderful family and great children under his wing that support him in all of his projects.
They ran me around for months on a project. I was first dealing with Santiago and he gave me a good quote. Them some other guy named Gave tried to come on the project with cowboy boots and tried to bully me around. The numbers all changed everything we agreed to and proposed when off the rails. He took over the companies social media and communications. Last review was 3 years ago and all of a sudden all these new reviews popped up in the last month which is sketchy. Looks and feels like a scam artist! Don’t trust their word they don’t honor it or communicate. Last conversation he asked if I wanted him to be transparent like he wasn’t before?! Transparency, Honesty and Communication are the only way to conduct business otherwise it ends with disappointments and bad business reviews!!
I talked to them in order to compare against highly recommended companies that were recommended to me by my engineer, to get a comparison. What a waste of time! Read this: * Their guy was the only one who couldn't find my house without help (minor detail but fits in perfectly) * Didn't bring his own flash light * Spent the least time to inspect * The only one who didn't crawl into my crawl space * Asked the least amount of questions * Was the only one who hadn't read my plans beforehand, even though I had sent them, so I had to explain everything * Was 20 mins late in the morning * And now the best: sent an estimate a full 2X higher than the most expensive company until that date, not itemized like everyone else, just a flat number. Hundreds of thousands more.
I contacted S.M. Construction and Associates because a dangling power line meant the electric had to be turned off and the line repaired. Salomon and his skilled electricians are commended for completing a professional and timely job. My expectations were exceeded because I was told by another agency that the process could take up to two weeks to complete the work and pass inspection; however, this job and passing inspection was completed in four days. I plan to use S.M. Construction and Associates again in the near future.
