Top-Notch Roofing

I couldn’t have picked a better roofer for my home. From start to finish, my experience with Top-Notch Roofing on my residential roof replacement in Novato was excellent. Everyone involved was friendly and easy to communicate with. Roman, who first met with me, was very knowledgeable and offered great advice about which roofing materials to use for the California climate. He patiently explained the entire process and always answered my calls quickly. The delivery of materials and the installation both went smoothly, just as promised. On the scheduled day, Cory and the crew arrived early and worked efficiently, removing my old shingles, replacing a few damaged underlayment boards, fixing the area around the chimney to make sure everything was sealed properly, and installing the new shingles. They also took care to replace all the vent pipe boots and made sure the property was clean, carefully picking up roofing nails from the lawn and landscaping. I only found a few stray nails afterward, which is pretty impressive for such a big job. They even hauled away all the debris. After the work was done, Ezekiel helped by providing all the necessary photos and documents to my insurance company, making sure everything met their standards. I’m extremely happy with the results and highly recommend this team if you need a roofer in Novato.

We had a great experience with our recent roofing project. A while back, a membrane roof was installed on part of our house, and after some heavy rain and wind this spring, we noticed a small leak. Cory from the roofing team came out right away and took care of the problem quickly. Just this week, they put a new shingle roof on the rest of our home. The crew was always on time, very professional, and easy to work with. They made sure to cover the area around our home with tarps to keep debris and nails from getting everywhere. Our entire 1,300 sq. ft. roof, plus all new gutters with gutter guards, was finished in less than a day. We’ve already had several neighbors mention how great our new roof and gutters look. The careful work on the step flashing and sealing fixtures really stands out and everything looks top-notch. We’re very happy with the results and highly recommend them if you need roofing work. We plan to use their services for many years to come.

After meeting with Ezekiel and seeing some of their roofing projects up close, as well as checking out online reviews, we felt confident choosing Top-Notch Roofing for our home. We got four different quotes, and their pricing was very reasonable compared to others. Our project was pretty big—we needed a brand new roof with dormers, a detached garage roof, and all new CertainTeed vinyl siding that looks just like real shingles. We also had all our trim replaced with Azek, new gutters installed, and line covers added, plus our outdoor lighting updated. The crew, led by Cory, did a fantastic job. Every detail was handled with care and the results turned out absolutely perfect. It's rare to find such a hardworking and skilled team. Special mention to Roman for the excellent trim work. We highly recommend them for any roofing or siding needs. They really listen to your concerns and make sure you’re completely satisfied. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

Roman has been wonderful to work with on our roofing project. He is always professional, friendly, and patient when answering our questions. We were quickly impressed with his deep knowledge about roofing. After a big storm in Novato, we needed to have our roof and gutters replaced. The roofing team worked quickly and managed to finish both our house and garage in just one day. Later, I noticed a few nails and some debris in the yard and driveway, but since it was already dark when the crew finished up, it made sense that a couple of things were missed. Roman came back himself with a magnetic sweeper to make sure all the leftover nails were picked up. Cory, who handled the gutter installation, was efficient and put in large, high-quality gutters that look great and work really well. Roman also took care of all the communication with our insurance company, saving us time and making the whole process much easier. Overall, we are very happy with how everything turned out and appreciate the great service.

After spending several years researching different roofing materials and checking out samples to see how they hold up in the California sun, i found that metal was the best option for my home. I got plenty of estimates and talked to a lot of roofing contractors here in Novato, but Top-Notch Roofing stood out from the rest. I probably could have waited a couple more years before replacing my 23 year old shingle roof, but working with ezekiel made the process so smooth and stress-free, i decided to move forward before metal prices went up. ezekiel was incredibly professional and always made sure i was getting the best quality for my budget. During the first day of installing my new metal roof, company reps were on-site to make sure everything started off right. Like with any big home project, there were a few surprises—roman and his team discovered a small issue with roof sagging caused by the weight of my chimney. He explained the problem clearly and offered a simple, affordable fix. After that, the rest of the job went off without a hitch. The finished metal roof looks absolutely amazing. Every time i come home, i’m impressed by the craftsmanship and attention to detail. The fit and finish are top-notch, and it was obvious the crew took pride in their work. If i ever build another house, i would absolutely trust ezekiel, roman, and the crew to handle my roofing needs again.
