What FindServices.ai collects, why, and how to correct or remove your business listing.

The short version. We build starter business listings from public records so homeowners can find local contractors. If you own one of those businesses you can claim it, correct it, decide where quote requests go, or have it taken down. We don't sell your data or resell contact lists.
1. Who we are
FindServices.ai is a home-services directory operated by Genacom. If you need to reach a person about anything on this page, email [email protected].
2. Why your business may already be listed
We create starter listings from publicly available sources — business registries, licence records, mapping data and public review sources. We do this before any contact with the business, which is why a listing can exist that you never created. A starter listing contains only information already public.
Claiming the listing is how you take control of it. Until then it stays as published, and you can ask us to correct or remove it at any time — see section 7.
3. What we collect

We do not collect payment details. Claiming and keeping a listing is free.
4. How we use it
- To publish the directory and let homeowners find and contact local businesses.
- To let our assistant recommend businesses in response to a homeowner's question, using the structured information on each listing.
- To route quote requests to the address or phone number a claimed business chooses.
- To email business owners about claiming or correcting their listing, and to measure whether those emails were delivered and opened so we stop contacting people who aren't interested.
- To keep the service secure and prevent someone claiming a business they don't own.
5. AI processing
When you ask us to draft or polish your business description, the text you supply is sent to a third-party language-model provider to generate a suggestion. Nothing is published until you approve it. We do not use your listing content to train third-party models.
6. Cookies and tracking
We set one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It is HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and contains only your account email. There is no advertising cookie and no cross-site tracking.
Outreach emails contain a tracking pixel and tagged links so we can tell whether a message was opened or clicked. If you'd rather not be measured, use the unsubscribe link in any email — it works in one click and we honour it permanently.
7. Your choices
Correct your listing
Claim it and edit any field, or email [email protected] with the correction and we'll make it for you.
Unpublish or remove
A claimed listing can be unpublished from your dashboard at any time. If you haven't claimed it, email [email protected] from an address connected to the business and we'll remove it.
Stop emails
Use the unsubscribe link in any message, or email us. We keep a suppression record so you aren't contacted again — that record is the only thing we retain about you after removal.
California residents
If you are a California resident you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold, and you may ask us not to sell or share it. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Email [email protected] to make a request.
8. Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the product — hosting, our email provider, and the language-model provider described in section 5 — and only for that purpose. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information and we do not resell contact lists to lead buyers.
9. Retention
Listing information stays published while the listing is live. Account and claim records are kept while the account exists. Email delivery records are kept so we can honour unsubscribes and avoid repeat contact. When you ask for removal we delete the listing and its profile data, keeping only the suppression record.
10. Security
Access to the owner dashboard requires a verified email or password. We verify ownership before handing control of a listing to anyone. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who can reach production data and we don't store payment details at all.
11. Children
This is a service for businesses and homeowners. It isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
12. Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting claimed listings will also be emailed to the owner on file.
