Terms of Service

The rules for using FindServices.ai and for claiming a business listing.

Last updated 26 August 2026

The short version. The directory is free to use and free to claim. You own what you write; we publish it. Don't claim a business you don't own, don't publish anything false, and we won't charge you or sell your data. Either of us can walk away at any time.

1. Who these terms are between

They're between you and Genacom, which operates FindServices.ai ("we", "us"). By using the site or claiming a listing you agree to them. If you're claiming on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for it.

2. What the service is

FindServices.ai is a directory of home-services businesses. We create starter listings from public records, and we let the verified owner claim a listing to correct it, add detail, choose where quote requests are sent, or unpublish it. An assistant on the site uses the information published on listings to answer homeowners' questions and suggest businesses.

3. Claiming a listing

4. What you publish

You keep ownership of the text, photos and other content you add. By publishing it you give us permission to display and distribute it as part of the directory, and to include it in answers our assistant gives to homeowners. You can withdraw that by editing or unpublishing the listing.

You confirm that what you publish is accurate, that you have the right to publish it, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights. Do not publish:

We can remove content or unpublish a listing that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why.

5. AI-assisted drafting

We offer an assistant that drafts or polishes your description from notes you supply. Suggestions are generated by a third-party language model and nothing is published until you approve it. You are responsible for what you approve — check it for accuracy before publishing.

6. Quote requests

Homeowners can send quote requests through the site. We pass them to the destination you choose. We don't guarantee any volume, quality, or timing of requests, we don't vet every homeowner, and we're not party to any agreement you reach with one.

7. Rankings, recommendations and badges

Where a business appears in FindServices results and whether our assistant mentions it depends on the information published on the listing and our own matching logic, which can change. We do not guarantee placement, ranking, recommendation, or any business outcome — on FindServices or inside any third-party assistant such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude.

Recognition programmes such as Best in Class are selected at our discretion against published criteria. Claiming a listing makes a business eligible to be considered; it does not entitle it to an award.

8. Cost

Claiming a listing and keeping it published is free, and we don't ask for a card. If we ever introduce a paid feature it will be optional and priced before you agree to it.

9. Ending it

You can unpublish your listing or ask us to delete it at any time — see the Privacy Policy for what happens to the data. We can suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop operating the service.

10. Beta

The service is in beta. Features may change or be withdrawn, and there may be interruptions. It's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for lost profits, lost business, or indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.

12. Changes

If we change these terms we'll update the date on this page, and we'll email owners of claimed listings about material changes.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of California will hear any dispute.
